Session 3 of 4: Doshas and Koshas! Deepening Your Understanding of Ayurveda
Via Zoom
The three doshas, vata, pitta & kapha, tell us about our physical condition, our constitutional make-up, and much more:
Vata represents the principle of all movement, or that which moves.
Pitta represents the principle of transformation, the change from one state to another.
Kapha represents the principle of stability, or that which holds things together.
The principles of movement, transformation & stability work together to form a dynamic image of our total being from gross to subtle.
In this session, we’ll take a deeper look at the three doshas within the context of the five koshas. The koshas are the five levels or layers that together compose a human being.
We’ll see how the three doshas operate and manifest themselves on each of the five levels – physical, energetic, mental, intellectual, and spiritual – providing us deeper insights towards balanced well-being.
Please join us in discovering these deep connections. All are welcome.
